Product Description For families of addicts, feelings of fear, shame , and confusion over a loved one's addiction can cause deep anxiety, sleepless nights, and even physical illness. And the emotional distress family members suffer is often compounded by the belief that they somehow caused or contributed to their loved one's addiction-or that they could have done something to prevent it.As the heart-wrenching personal stories of this book reveal, family members do not cause their loved one's addiction. Nor can they control or cure addiction. What family members can do is find support, set boundaries, detach with love -- and eventually discover how to enjoy life whether their loved one finds recovery or not. Addict in the Family is a book about sorrow deception, and pain. More importantly, it is a book of comfort, hope, and understanding for anyone struggling with a loved one's addiction. # The Christmas Spirits

Product Description George Moore is a modern day Scrooge, a futures trader who drives his staff hard, and won't let his assistant go home to look after her autistic son on Christmas Eve. Like Scrooge he is mean with money, but he is also mean with his sympathies and his time. He has to swerve to avoid putting money in a charity box and also crosses the road to avoid a family he thinks are probably gypsies on his way to dinner at a cheap cafeteria. An old man sitting nearby looks as if he might be looking for the warmth of some human contact. George refuses to meet his eye and hurries home. Various slightly odd, even disconcerting things happen. He encounters a nun who looks like an elderly child. He sees a Santa in the window of a department store, who seems to emerge from his Grotto, look confused, and is then surrounded by small elf-like figures who drag him back behind the curtains. Finally, when he arrives back in his apartment the old man from the cafeteria suddenly appears and reveals himself as George's old mentor in trading and in greed. Bill Hill reveals that he is dead and that he has come to give George a warning. He warns George he will have three visitors that night, and then in a flash he disappears. So it comes about that, as Bill Hill said, George receives three visitors that Christmas Eve, just as Scrooge was visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. But these are not the ghosties and sprites that frightened Dickens's readers. George's visitors are more ambiguous, more frightening to a modern sensibility. They are visitors that will give even today's reader goose bumps. They take George on an emotional journey that like Scrooge's journey - and the journey in another Christmas story, It's a Wonderful Life - teaches him the true value of Christmas, the true meaning of life and finally ... how to love. This new classic is both very scary and very Christmassy. # Accepting His Animal (Wolves of Stone Ridge)

Product Description Doctor Gordon Digby came to Stone Ridge to help rescued shifters heal from their time abused by poachers. Finding a mate wasn't even a blip on his radar. Fate throws a wrench in his plans in the form of sexy tiger shifter Grady Stryker. The man sets Gordon's blood on fire and scrambles his senses. But Grady's a detective, and the good doctor has secrets he doesn't want revealed, including his own animal's transgressions. Detective Grady Stryker believes finding your fated mate is the greatest gift a shifter can receive so he doesn't understand Gordon's reticence, until a friend gives him a little insight into Gordon's past. His resolve set, Grady realizes the best way to win his mate just may be the most fun: seduction. Grady's plans get put on hold when more poachers appear in Stone Ridge. Except these humans aren't really poachers. They know about shifters, and if they can't capture them, they'll eradicate them. Can Grady convince Gordon to accept him in time to stop the humans from harming more of their friends? Or will they be too distracted to see what's right in front of them? # What-the-Dickens: The Story of a Rogue Tooth Fairy

Product Description A terrible storm is raging, and ten-year-old Dinah is huddled by candlelight with her brother, sister, and cousin Gage, who is telling a very unusual tale. It??TMs the story of What-the-Dickens, a newly hatched orphan creature who finds he has an attraction to teeth, a crush on a cat named McCavity, and a penchant for getting into trouble. One day he happens upon a feisty girl skibberee who is working as an Agent of Change -- trading coins for teeth -- and learns that there is a dutiful tribe of skibbereen (call them tooth fairies) to which he hopes to belong. As his tale of discovery unfolds, however, both What-the- Dickens and Dinah come to see that the world is both richer and less sure than they ever imagined. # An Infinite Now, An Infinite Yes, An Infinite Love

Product Description God must have perfect foreknowledge of His creation. Any lack of knowledge makes Him imperfect. Since God is perfect in all aspects, then no free will decision can occur without His permissive will allowing it to occur. Since God is not bound by time, any moment of time to Him is equal to any other moment of time. By knowing all time at the same time God knows the totality of our individual lives or the integral of all our life long moments at this moment or any other of time. Therefore it also follows that God knew us at the moment of creation because the integral of all moments of time including all the moments of our individual lives were known to God at the moment of creation. God told Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." In our day-to-day life, we can only experience our relationship with God in an orderly fashion called time, moment-by-moment, in chronological order throughout our lives. From God's perspective however, since He knows all things at all times, our life's long free will decisions and relationships with Him have been played out in front of Him at the first moment of time. He knows all about us throughout all eternity, past and future. We, on the other hand, experience God only in each derivative moment in sequential order, moment to moment. Yet gloriously we can access God's infinite understanding of us at this very moment; our infinite now. We have this moment of our lives to access His infinite thoughts towards us now; our infinite now. Please take a moment to enjoy a quiet conversation with Our Father Creator in your own words. Now...at this moment of time, your infinite now. As discussed previously, since God knows all time at the same time, He can experience both this moment with us as it is happening in our time frame and all moments of our life at the same time. He knew before you were created weather or not you would take time to talk to Him a few moments ago. Yet you made a free will decision, didn't you? Yes our decisions are free and yes God is in full control. Was your decision to pray a moment ago free? Yes. Was God in control? Yes. As dividing three into one gives an endless one third remainder, the answer to our question about man's free will and God's foreknowledge always give a yes answer, or an infinite yes. Love freely returned is the most complete, fulfilling joyful experience we can know as created human beings. God also loved all of us before we could understand and respond. "But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Please, at this moment, this infinite now, accept the truth of God as a young child accepts his father's statements as true. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me;" When we are in love we naturally and acutely focus on what makes our loved one happy, how they want to be loved. God simply wants us to accept Jesus in our hearts, to accept God's love His way. Jesus shows us God's glorious love and opens the door to be one with Him in a perfect loving relationship for eternity. "Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides with him and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him." Consider being in a state of love eternally, excited by every nuance of our loving God, always learning something new about Him and thoroughly enjoying just being one with Him - in an infinite love - to be infinitely intimate with the one you love. When we come to God as a child we find that He was there in our hearts all along. "For it is God who works in us both to will and to do for His good pleasure" this is our infinite now, infinite yes and infinite love with God. Product Description Mark is in his garden, grieving and depressed over the unexplained death of his son and without knowing it, is almost coaxed by a demon into committing suicide. But, at the last moment Sotare, an angel, rescues him and is later permitted to appear to Mark in the Garden. The two dialogue about God, life, death, good, evil, the spiritual realm, and the nature of truth. However, all is not well. The demons are watching and powerful evil forces are sent to kill and destroy those who are close to Mark and those who are praying for him. As Sotare teaches Mark, he is given answers to his questions -- but they do not come easily. He must face his greatest challenge in order to learn his greatest lesson. The battle over Mark unfolds in both the spiritual and physical worlds as angels are sent to battle against the evil forces that are seeking to destroy. True victory is never easy.
